"Hey! Wait for us!" mewed Summerpaw. She raced after Ripplekit and Moonfeather.
Meanwhile, Autumnpaw stood next to Cherryblossom. She shook her head at her sister.
"We need to tell Silverstar!" mewed Autumnpaw, " But beofre... we might want to search the territory....?"
"I think we should tell Silverstar first. And tell her where we are going!" mewed Cherryblossom

Ripplekit smelled the ground picking up Cloverpaws smelt and Mudpaws. He flicked his tail back and forth "I want to help look for them!" he meowed.

"Let's go and get my sister, then we can go and look out for them!" mewed Summerpaw, picking up the two lost apprentices scents. "We got to hurry! Before we lose the scent!"

"Yeah! Who else did you think I was talking too!" smiled Summerpaw. "Come on, lets go!" She raced over to her sister, who was sitting outside the leader's den.
"Cherryblossom has gone to tell Silverstar about the two apprentices," she told them.
"Come on, we are going to look for them!" mewed Summerpaw. Autumnpaw hesitated, but in the end, she gave in.

"Can you scent them?" asked Summerpaw to Ripplekit and her sister, Autumnpaw.

Ripplekit helpped them sniffed around till he caught Clover paws scent "I found Cloverpaws" he meowed excited.

"Lead the way, Ripplekit!" Summerpaw mewed. Autumnpaw wondered why she let a kit track the scent. Surely, she or her sister should. But it didn't really matter much; they would soon have to fan out and follow the scent as best as they all could.

Ripplekit followed it his nose to the ground after a couple of mins he found Mudpaw scent to "I found Mudpaws scent also!"

"That's good Ripplekit!" mewed Autumnpaw; who leafy tortiseshell pelt shivered in excitment
"Now lets follow the scent!" mewed her sister, Summerpaw. The three of them followed the scent as best as they could until they reached the river. Soon after that; Mudpaw's and Cloverpaw's scent dissapeared. Autumnpaw was puzzled.

Once Silverstar got the news about Mudpaw and Clovepaw she nodded. "I hope they are just out trying to gt out of camp, but I want to organize a patrol. Cherryblossom you will lead it and please bring Moonfeather since she is Cloverpaw's mentor." Mudpaw's mentor had died only two nights ago, and she hadn't assigned him a new one.
