Where are Cloverpaw and Mudpaw?

Rainpaw woke up with a yawn. She sighed remembring her father, then she looked around the den. Mudpaw and Cloverpaw were missing. She figured they would be practicing fighting moves outside of th den, but when she sniffd the scent it was old. Rainpaw ran out of the den and went to find Moonfather, Cloverpaw's mentor, to see if the apprentice was out training.

"Hey Rainpaw!" mewed Autumnpaw, smiling. "Have you seen Cloverpaw? I wanted to see if she wanted to come with me to practice our fighting... but I can't find her..."
Summerpaw bounded over, looking confused.
"Have you seen Mudpaw? He wasn't there when I woke up..." asked Summerpaw.
"Maybe they were went on patrol?" mewed Autumnpaw

Moonfeather streached and padded out of the den. "Hi Rainpaw. Summerpaw, Autmnpaw. Have you seen Cloverpaw? I was hoping we could do some training."

"But I thought she was with you!" mewed Autumnpaw, her tortiseshell pelt was now fluffed up in shock. Summerpaw fixed her gaze on her sister, then Moonfeather, Cloverpaw's mentor.
"We haven't seen her all morning, when I woke up, both Mudpaw and Clovepaw were gone... we all thought they must have gone on dawn patrol, or out at th training area with you guys!" Summerpaw mewed.

Rainpaw looked around. "Maybe they just suck out of camp when no one was up to go swimming or something," she uggested.

"Whats going on?" Ripplekit asked curious he padded over to the small group crowed around the apprentice den.

"No, she wasn't with me... I figured she'd be with you," Moonfeather said, suddenly worried.

"Hello Ripplekit, Have you seen Mudpaw?" asked Autumnpaw. Summerpaw cuffed her sister over the head.
"There not in camp, we have already established that, Autumnpaw!" Summerpaw told her sister. Autumnpaw looked down, hurt by her sister's statement.
"I was just asking...." mewed Autumnpaw. Summerpaw saw how down her sister was, and flicked her sister's flank with her tail.
"Its all right, I suppose we will have to ask a few cats; if we hope to find them!"
"Like Rainpaw said; they might just be out for a swim!"

"What's going on?" Cherryblossom padded over to the group of apprentices.

"We can't find Mudpaw and Cloverpaw," Rainpaw explained.

"Maybe you ask the cat who was on night guard duty if they saw them? They probably got off a few moments ago, maybe they saw them go out ealier?" Cherryblossom knew that the night guard normally spoke to cats who went out early in the morning to do things.

"Last time I seen her was last night when she went to the dirtplace" Ripplekit meowed.

"Who was on night guard?" Rainpaw asked.

"Hmmm... I don't know..." Cherryblossom mewed. "I know it wasn't me, or Dawnshadow... It could have been... Leopardfang?" Cherryblossom and Dawnshadow had missed the meeting that had organised that night's guard duty.
"So you say, you saw her near dirtplace?" Summerpaw mused. "Did you see her return?"

"No because I had to go back in the nursey" he meowed.

"Does someone want to check there?" Autumnpaw mewed, "It was last night, but maybe we can pick up her scent."
"I'm not worried," mewed Summerpaw, "I bet they are both out for a swim!"
