Cloverpaw fought the urge to swim ahead, leaving Bramblepaw behind. Being in the water made her happy and reminded her of home.

Mudpaw seen Cloverpaws impatients on wanting to just swim and couldnt blame her. He kept swimming beside Bramblepaw.

Eventually Bramblepaw reached the other side and pulled himself out. He shook out his pelt and gave a shiver.

Mudpaw sighed he didnt want to get out. But he got out the water didnt bther him but he had bigger things to think about. He looked back at Cloverpaw making sure she would get out safe to.

Vinepaw pricked his ears, he heard rushing water, he froze. Flood! With that he and Ivypaw raced up the slope onto safer ground. "THe others should have stuck with us." He growled.

Mudpaw heard something rushing towards them and pricked his ears "Flood!" he meowed. He didnt have time to do anything else the water was already closing on them.

Looking at Bramblepaw, Cloverpaw mewed, "If it comes down to it remember what you taught you about swimming." She knew she wans't going to get away and just hoped her legs would be strong enough as the waterrushed towards them.

"And whatever you do try to keep your head above the water" Mudpaw meowed crouching down tense knowing there was no way to dodge the water it would catch them if they tried to run. He flatten his ears hoping that the three of them would make it through it.

As a wave of water hit the light gray tabby, Cloverpaw went under. She quickly began to swim, her head bobbing above the water. She gasped for breath.
