"Fine with me if you get left beind," Cloverpaw meowed as she dipped her paw into the water. She wanted to get a feel of how strong the current was.

Not matter how much Ivypaw didn't want to admit it; she needed help from Cloverpaw.
"How do you do this stupid swimming anyways?" she asked, like it wasn't a hude deal. Yet, it was.

Vinepaw rolled his eyes. "We dont need to cross. Let's just follow the river." Without waiting for a reply, he turned and stalked up the river and into the bushes.

Cloverpaw rolled her eyes, but didn't bother to call out after him. Sh said to Ivypaw," It's just lik running, only in water, so there's no ground under you. Stronger your strokes are, the faster you go."

"I'm going to follow Vinepaw," Ivypaw told Cloverpaw. "I'm not getting my fur wet!" She kinda wanted to stay in a group with the others; saftey in numbers, but Vinepaw was important. She needed to go with him.

Vinepaw padded up a slope. He swished his tail and spun around glaring at the three cats left. "We have to get up the river before nightfall."
