Stupid Twolegs... But They Did One Thing Right

[Solarstar]

Solarstorm was walking by the thunder path remembering the day she had led Taintedheart to his death. The images flashed through her mind of the monster roaring past and slamming into Taintedheart before he could try and kill her. She had already wounded him, but that was his death. She sighed at the vengeance of her father. She could finally rest in piece now that he was gone. She looked up to the sky watching as the clouds passed over head. "Father, I didn't want it to end that way. I never wanted him to die. No cat ever deserves death, especially not one such as that. Was I the cause of his end?" She asked the sky in a pleading tone. She never wanted to end a cats life. She never did. She sighed and sat down in the tree lining with the light shinning brightly on her white pelt.

Smokestorm walkd up t the thunderpath. Not too long ago there had been a battle here, but all he could tihnk of was the battle when he fist became an apprentice. His first battle, the one where his mother died. Then, looking across the border, he spotted Solarstorm. It only took him a second to realize her as the cat that had killed Taintedheart. ShadowClan cats had been describing her. "What are you doing?" he hissed.

Solarstorm turned to the new comer surprised by his sudden appearance. She blinked and noticed that it had been Smokestorm from ShadowClan. She sighed, relieved he was alone. She didn't want another fight. "Oh, I'm just taking a walk. Don't worry. I'm not crossing any borders." She replied with a cool calm gaze. She figured he must have heard of Taintedheart by now. She was an easy cat to describe so he must already know it was her.

Smokestorm looked at her coldly. "Aren't you the one that killed Taintedheart?" he asked.

[Solarstar]

Solarstorm felt her heart flinched at the comment made by Taintedheart's clan mate. She sighed and looked at Smokestorm. "I'm not sure how you'd say it, but yes, it was my fault. He attacked our patrol and he got hit by a monster." She replied looking calm, but there was a hint of guilt in her icy blue eyes.

Smokestorm flexed his claws and hissed under his breath. He could only sense how calm she was, but they were talking about the death of his clanmate. He took a slow step onto the thundrpath.

Solarstorm's ears twitched just barely hearing a paw step taken on the hard black top of the thunder path and turned to look at him. "It wasn't meant to happen. I never wanted to kill him. I'm sorry for what I caused." She said trying to show she never meant a thing by his death.

"You can't tak it back. He's dead becasue he was fighting you and in the battle that you started another of our clanmates died," Smokestorm said, shaking his head, stil slinking closer to her.

Solarstorm felt her heart sink at his words directed toward her. She hated being blamed for someone's death which she meant no harm to. "I can't change the past but the past can be forgiven. Please I meant no harm. Besides, he was the one who leaped out of the bushes and attacked me." She replied with pleading eyes.

Smokestorm brought his paw and and swung it down at her face fo a frontal blow. He hadn't reall planned to attack her, but Smokestorm didn't like Thunderclan to begin with and nw he was face to face with a cat that killed one of his clanmates.

Solarstorm gasped as he slashed at her but fell back just in time. She crouched and darted to one side to keep away from his claws. She didn't want to fight. She streaked behind him hoping not to have him slash at her. "Please stop! There's no need to fight!" She yelled in a plea to stop the attack.

Smokestorm stalked towards her when he noticed a monster racing towards the thuneclan she-cat. He jumped at Solarstorm, shoving her to the side, so the moster just barely missed both of them. What did I just do? he thought to himself.

Solarstorm tumbled slightly to the side of the thunder path with the breath knocked out of her. "Ow." She mumbled as she lifted her head. 'Did he just save me?' She asked herself. But suddenly... a twoleg came up behind Smokestorm and reached down for him. "Run!" She shouted. But her warning came too late. The twoleg grabbed him and took him to the monster. She was about to go after him when she herself was grabbed by a twoleg. She struggled but it had a tight grip on her. It tossed her in the back with Smokestorm in some kind of cob web den made of something shiny. They closed the monster and got in front.

Smokestorm hissed and clawed at the hard, metallic cobwebs. "What is this?" he spat, frustrated.

Solarstorm started biting at it and pulled away instantly. "Ow! It hurts!" She exclaimed and glared at the webs. "I'm not sure but it hurts my teeth." She replied. She started to claw at it trying to break through. Man was this going to irritate her. No matter how much she clawed at it, it just wouldn't break. "Fox dung!" She spat giving the web a death glare.
