Solarstorm was slowly padding through the dense forest of ThunderClan territory. Her paws felt wet and her heart felt shattered. A warrior known as Duststorm had recently caught her attention. She took a licking to him about a moon ago. She noticed how kind he was to others. He was also brave, intelligent, handsome, strong, and fast. He had impressed her over the time she had first noticed him. Although, he never seemed to notice her. She was invisible to him. She felt her heart shatter every time he came around. She sighed and kept walking until she reached the Great Sycamore. She looked at the tree and padded up to it curling her white body among the tangled roots of the big tree.

Duststorm had been out padding through the forest hunting if he found anything. He smelt the air he was close to the Sycamore when he smelt a squirel but he stepped on a stick alreting him. He chased after it and pounced on on it right at the roots of the tree. He killed it fast with a bite to the neck. He looked up and hide it so he could come get it later. That was when he noticed something white in between the roots. Curious he padded forward and Solarstorms scent washed over him. He sighed with relife "Hi Solarstorm" he meowed. |

Solarstorm hadn't heard the crash that had occurred just on the other side of the tree. She was deep within her own thoughts. She just sighed feeling a bit down.

Solarstorm jumped at the sound of her name. She was already on her paws and looking around wildly. She then noticed... well speak of the devil, it was Duststorm. She felt a little wobbly. She then shook her head and silently cursed herself for looking so foolish. She looked back up at Duststorm and smirked as she always did. "Yeah I'm fine. I was just thinking." She meowed to the warrior in half truth. She was just thinking, but she wasn't exactly fine.

Solarstorm laughed a bit trying to make it seem like she was fine. She was an expert at covering up her feelings. But this might have been different. It was Duststorm for StarClan sake. She had strong feelings for him and he hardly noticed her, let alone speak to her. "Yes I'm fine, really I am." She meowed in a calm and gentle tone as she always did.

Solarstorm shrugged. "Eh, nothing really. Just wondering who would suit as a good leader for ThunderClan." She lied. She thought about it and knew that he would probably make a great leader for ThunderClan.

Solarstorm was a bit stunned at his suggestion. He thought she would make a good leader? She didn't know what to say. "Aww come on. You would make a great leader. You're strong, brave, smart, cunning, and kind." She listed off his good characteristics. Well he didn't have any bad characteristics for her to list off at all.

Solarstorm looked at him with a questioning look. He actually thought that of her. He thought she had all of those qualities? She was blushing by this time. Finally she accidentally locked gazes with Duststorm unable to tear her gaze away from his.

He felt his fur grow hot when he meet her gaze. But he didnt look away from her gaze he almost purred but stopped 'I cant think of her that way I have to have the clan first' he thought.

Solarstorm shook her head finally prying her eyes away from the warrior. She felt heat rise to her cheeks as she blushed even more. Having white fur it was really hard to hide. She tried calming herself down and finally after about a minuet, the blushing ceased. She just hoped he didn't notice.
