You're Not Invisible In My Eyes
Her hair flowing blond as the breeze blew through the village of Konoha, also known as the Village Hidden in the Leaves. Hinari Hatake, little sister to Kakashi Hatake the copy ninja, stepped through the busy streets of the village. She had her hands in her pockets feeling the irritation build in her chest as she tried weaving her way through the crowded pathways trying not to run into people. She finally got fed up with it and leaped up onto the roof of the nearest building. She jumped from roof top to roof top feeling the wind pick up as she sped through the air. "Finally! I can start moving!" She said to herself as she stepped one foot at a time on each roof. Some shingles on the roof she landed on came out and made her lose her footing. She slipped and took a dive off the roof. She fell and once she landed, she realized that she had landed on top of someone. She looked down to see she was laying on top of Kiba Inuzuka. She blushed a bit. She had a bit of a crush on him ever since the second year of being in the academy, though he never seemed to notice her. "Oh sorry about that." She said rubbing the back of her head. She stood and turned reaching out with a hand offering to help him up. Kiba was surprised when he was tackled to the ground. He heard someone say sorry, but didn't recognize the voice. He looked up to see a girl with blond hair and amethyst colored eyes. He smiled and took her hand. "Thanks." He replied. "No apology needed. Those shingles are old and would have come out anyway." He commented about the old pieces of wood. Then a question popped into his mind. "By the way, who are you?" He asked hoping to get her name. She immediately dropped her head with an anime sweat drop lingering. (-_-') He really didn't notice her before. "Hinari Hatake." She sighed and looked back up. He looked a bit surprised. The last name Hatake rang a bell in his mind. Was she related to Kakashi Hatake? "Are you related to Kakashi Hatake by chance?" He asked with a questioning tone. She sighed again knowing he didn't even know she existed before. "Yes, I'm his little sister. When my parents where killed, I had to stay with my aunt and uncle that lived in the Hidden Sand Village. I moved here when I was old enough to go to the academy and Kakashi agreed to take me in." She explained so he wouldn't be confused. But he still had a few questions to ask her. He still looked a bit confused. "So you're going to the academy soon?" He asked hoping to wish her good luck. Although she looked a little old to be a first year. She then had an anime fall. She stood back up and sighed. "No. I've graduated." She replied. She felt so invisible, considering she was invisible to practically everyone else besides her new squad. She still had yet to meet her sensei today after lunch. He tilted his head to the side and smiled. "Well thats good congrats!" But she looked too young to be any older then him. "So when did you graduate the academy?" He asked once again with a questioning tone. She then smacked her forehead feeling pretty lame about how invisible she seemed to be. "I graduated with you. I've been in the academy for three years along with you." She replied hoping he would at least remember her at one point. He looked at her trying to remember her. Then an image of a girl sitting in the class appeared in his mind. His eyes widened slightly. He felt a little weird for not even knowing her name after three years. His head sunk a bit feeling pretty stupid. "Oh yeah... sorry. You where just always so quiet and never spoke that much!" He tried frantically to explain his reasoning. She always did seem cold and distant. She didn't exactly seem too popular. She smirked a bit seeing as how he did remember her. Hinari was actually a lot like Sasuke Uchiha. Except this time when she was practically alone with Kiba so she seemed different. She was the strongest Kunouchi in the village although she would very rarely show it. When she was little, she was playing around in her room when she heard a scream followed by crashing noises downstairs. She ran out of her room and down the stairs to see a man and her parents. Her family was backed up in a corner. The man didn't notice her. She hid behind the clothes that hung in the entrance closet. She watched in fear wondering what they where doing. She noticed that her brother Kakashi wasn't there. She was trembling a bit. But then the man spoke. 'Say good bye.' Then he slashed at her father. He fell to the ground, dead. She gasped a bit then looked back up after prying her eyes away from her lifeless father. The man smirked and dug his sword into her mother's stomach. She coughed and blood trickled from the side of her mouth. He swiftly pulled the blade back out of her mothers flesh. She fell to her knees then fell to the ground... she was dead. She stood and ran to her mother. 'Mommy!' She cried. The man looked at her and smirked under the wraps he had on his face. The sword he held was huge. He was about to cut her down when he was stopped by something. 'Big brother!' She shouted. It was Kakashi. He had saved her. Afterward, since he wasn't old enough to raise her, she was sent to Suna, the Hidden Sand Village. Hinari had to watch her parents die that day. She knew who the man was. Not his name but he was huge and his sword was about as tall as him although very thin. "Well I have to get to the academy to meet my new sensei. I might see you later though. Hopefully you remember me." She commented jokingly to the boy. But then a head popped out of her side bag that she kept her kunia and shuriken in. The cat groaned feeling a bit light headed. "Ow what happened?" She complained to Hinari. Yes the cat could talk. Hinari's eyes went a bit wide feeling sort of stupid. (0.0) 'I forgot about my own cat!' She yelled in her mind. "Oh sorry Amiya. I was running on the roof when the shingles slipped out and I took a dive off and landed on Kiba." She explained why her cat now had a slight head ache. Kiba stared wide eyed and jaw dropped as he saw the cat speak. "You have a cat... and it can talk!?" He exclaimed. Akamaru growled a bit as he looked at the brown and white fur ball. Hinari looked up and smiled to the side. Rubbing the back of her head. "Yeah. This is Amiya. Amiya, this is Kiba." She made the introductions between her cat and new acquaintance. Amiya smirked a bit looking at Kiba. "Oh so this is the guy you li- Hey w-!" She was cut off as Hinari gently pushed her head back in the bag. Hinari smiled and spoke through gritted teeth. "Well we should get going now." She said trying to give Amiya a hint to keep her mouth shut. Kiba made an expression like 'Okay then, that was weird.' (0_o) He shook his head clearing his thoughts. He then looked back up at Hinari and smirked as he always did. "Hey, I have to go to the academy too. You wanna walk together. It's the least I could do for completely phasing you out... well maybe I could do more but this is a start for the apology." He said to her whispering the last part so she couldn't hear. Although he whispered the last part, she could still hear him. She had major strong hearing so she could even hear conversations without even trying to listen. Some she didn't even want to hear. She shrugged and looked back at Kiba. "Sure if you want, you don't have to though." She replied. She felt a bit better that he actually did remember her. He smirked and replied to her, "No it's fine. I don't mind. What was your cat trying to say anyway?" He asked wondering if she knew. Hinari stiffened up a bit feeling a bit of pressure build up. "Oh uh nothing. She just likes to start babbling." She replied trying to cover up the mistake her cat almost made. She then felt claws sticking in her legs. "Ow!" She grunted quietly. She then gently but with enough force whacked the bag that rested on her right thigh. She heard a slight hiss coming from her pouch. She smirked with satisfaction at her victory. Although they where partners and friends as well, they did argue at times. The victories would go back and forth. She looked back up and smirked at Kiba. "We should get going now." She implied.
