Role Play
In simple terms, roleplaying is basically writing a story, with other people, that anyone can join into!
On this site, we roleplay our warrior cats and write about our cats doing stuff. In a certain way, its like we are all writing our own 'Warriors' story, and having fun while doing it.
There is another word, they we use on here: "Post" in other words, it's another term for roleplay that we use on here.
You might hear one of us say.....
"Have you posted?" or "Do you want me to make a post?" or even "Posted" its self.
Basically, they are talking about a roleplay, or making one. Posted is the past tense, like if you finished a roleplay, and you wanted to let the other people know, you just say "Posted" and they know that it's there turn!
And "Do you want me to make a post" means, "Do you want me to start/make a roleplay?"
General things about roleplaying
If your not exactly sure, what a roleplay is still, here's an example
~~~~~
Hailspalsh sat quietly under a tree on ThunderClan territory. She had been hunting all morning, and needed a rest. Suddenly, she smelt another cat aproach. It was her apprentice, Bluepaw!
"What are you doing out here?" Hailspalsh asked her apprentice.
~~~~~~~~~
If Hailsplash's apprentice wasn't her own cat, then the person who roleplay's Bluepaw would reply with Bluepaw's answer.
When you roleplay, It's best you use proper grammar, and spelling, to make your roleplay even better!
Also...........
When you're Roleplaying, you dont use chat talk (u, tlk, l8r, ttfn) because its annoying and will easily confuse some people.
Make fights fair. People wont like you as much if you're constantly defeating their cats and causing the cats pain.
No word limits to the roleplay, so you're free to make posts as long (or as short) as you'd like!
