Leafwhisper had called for Bramblepaw and Swiftpaw. She wanted to take her apprentice on a border patrol and she'd offered to deal with Swiftpaw's training for today. Ever sinc Heatherfur fiund out she was going to have kits the clan shared Swiftpaw's training. He should probably get a new mentor soon, Leafwhisper thought. When she went to get the cats though Swiftpaw was coughing, so she decided to let him sleep. She didn't want to go on a patrol alone with Bramblepaw so the warrior was trying to see if any cat was still in camp and would help her.

Nightstar was getting restless so when she heard that Leafwhisper was putting together a patrol, she offered to go along.
Bramblepaw bounced on his paws, excited to go.

Willowbreeze pricked her ears. "Might as well go" She mewed and got up.

Leafwhisper nodded. "Let's go then," she said. She hoped Bramblepaw would catch a good piece of prey. She didn't want to be embarassed since Nightstar was on the patrol.

"Hey, hows the prey running?" Lightningstep had followed the scent of the patrol, and caught up to it in no time. He was, super fast.
"I'll join the patrol too," Lightningstep mewed, not asking. He was going to be stubborn, so there was no point in telling him, he couldn't. Only Nightstar could tell him to leave.
"I've already gotten a young rabbit back there; is this a hunting patrol, or border?" he asked.

"Hunting, eh? Okay. Thats good," mewed Lightningstep. He then startd to scent for prey. Pin pointing the position of a small mouse, he started to move quietly, making sure his foot steps were light. He stalked the mouse, as it was un suspecting. In a swift movement, he jumped, pounced, and killed the mouse in one swift bite. he had to admit, hunting in WindClan territory may be hard sometimes. But he had grown used to it. He wouldn't have it any other way.

Nightstar stalked a rabbit and chased it, though the chase wasn't long. she'd brought it down swiftly.
