Lightwing was awake, but her kits were still curled up, asleep, next to her. When Strongkit made a weird noise between a purr and a cough all of the kits woke up. Lightwing frowned. THey were always up and out it was nice that they were sleeping for once.
"Strongkit?" Lightwing asked, "are you ok."
As the small white kit opened his mouth to answer he was overcome with a cough. Lightwing began to fret. She knew greencough was comming to the Clans, and Strongkit was still so young.
"Stonekit go get Minnowfur and tell her to come to the nursery. Then go and play in the camp, all of you. Don't disturb anyone," Lightwing told her kits.

Fernheart saw stonekit racing across the clearing towards the medicine cats den.

Stonekit went into the medicine cat's den and yowled, "Minnowfur! Minnowfur! Strongkit is coughing!!!!!" Without waiting for a reply he raced over to play with his siblings.

Mnnowfur rushed out and ran up to the cats. "What's going on?"

Fernheart padded over. "From what I heard, Strongkit was coughing," She told the Medicine Cat.

Fernheart went into the nursery and soothed Lightwing before taking Strongkit to the Medicine den.

Minnowfur went into the back anf grabbed some herbs before she began inspecting the little kit.

Lightwing followed and asked Minnowfur, "Will he be ok? Is it greencough? What about the other kits?"

Minnowfur nodded. "Greencough. Fernheart, make a bed for Strongkit. Ill go check out the other kits." Minnowfur raced out of the nursery.

Lightwing followed Minnowfur to her other kits.
Stonekit was rolling aorund the clearing with his siblings when Miinowfur came over. "Do you want to play?" he asked her.

Minnowfur thought for a second. "Sure." This would be a good way to check the kits. She grabbed a ball of moss and threw it accross the claering. "Go get it"
