Silverleaf watched the kits... being kits!
"Okay; now. I think we shall head to Sunningrocks," mewed Silverleaf. It was safer than going to the Thunderpath, and Snakerocks. Plus, they could see RiverClan territory, and play around on Sunningrock it's self!
Silverleaf looked down at little Nightkit. She had style, and she liked that. She could also sense that Honeykit and Thornkit were enjoying themselves.
"Oh, but while we are going; how about we try and find some prey?" mewed Silverleaf, amusement sparkled in her green eyes.

Silverleaf mentally slapped herself for forgetting about RiverClan now owning Sunningrocks. Her greem eyes now looked annyoyed.
"Your right, Nightkit!" mewed Silverleaf, "Lets go to.... to... the Great Sycamore," She hadn't patrolled there for ages, so it would be a good time to go check it out!

"Okay, Nightkit, What can you scent?" Silverleaf asked. She knew she was acting like a mentor would, but she really hoped she would be Nightkit's mentor! Silverleaf could smell many things, and wondered if Nightkit would get them all
"You too, Honeykit, Thornkit!"

Nightkit sqeaked. "Hunt! No! Fight.... No! I dont know!! Anything!" She lashed her tail in excitment.

"How about I teach you how to hunt?" It was simple enough, and it wouldn't invlove the kits getting hurt. She decided voles, mice and shrew would be the best to look for.
She pin pointed a shrew. It would be easy to catch; and there was no chance of it fighting back. She showed Nightkit the hunter's crouch; how to sneak up on prey, before letting the kit have a go.
"Now; remember what I just taught you!" she mewed quietly.

Nightkit nodded and began to silenty stalk the vole. She pounced little early and the vole ran off. Nightkit crouched down. "Sorry..."
